Days

Seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, and hours become “Days,” and I'm lost in it since it's so difficult to keep up with the pace of adding posts.

"Days" (2020) is one of a kind. It is vain to search for subtitles. In fact, this Thai drama is devoid of them. It features little dialogue, but it doesn't matter anymore. "Days", directed by Tsai Ming-liang, is about the touch. How much do we need it? Kang, one of two heroes, leaves the huge house in the village and goes to town in search of some kind of relief. Non, on the other hand, lives in a small apartment in the city. They meet. Oops, spoiler. Easy, this film is not about a mysterious, intricate plot. It's about loneliness, calm and tentative human connection.



How this meeting would affect them? If you're a fan of slow cinema, go, and watch it. It's worth it.

This time, I'm going to show you  the japanese book that was a really good read.   It's the last completed work by Osamu Dazai (1909 – 1948) a Japanese author who's considered one of the foremost fiction writers of 20th-century Japan and it was published posthumously. The protagonist's name's Yozo, a sensitive and artistically talented son of a rich landowner. In solitude, he experiences a morbid fear of people. He feels lost in a world where it is difficult to distinguish truth from lies, former values lose their meaning. He is tormented by a sense of shame, low self-esteem and a belief that he is unable to meet the demands of the environment. In childhood, he's trying to escape from hard feelings acting buffoonery, in adolescence and later escape to the social margin and into addictions. His unhappy life ends with a suicide. T his Is Not a Burial, It’s a Resurrection is the second film I'm going to talk about. It was directed and written by  Mosotho ( The Sotho people, or Basotho, are a Bantu ethnic group of Southern Africa who speak Sesotho) Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese born in 1980, Hlotse, Lesotho. He’s is a self-taught filmmaker. As a co-creator of Barefoot Cinema and Mokoari collective, he promotes radical auteur cinema as well as the achievements of Third Cinema (Third Cinema is a Latin American film movement that started in the 1960s–70s which decries neocolonialism, the capitalist system, and the Hollywood model of cinema as mere entertainment to make money [1] ). This popular science book, written by Maciej Lorenc is really eye-opening. Maciej Lorenc talks to leading experts responsible for resuming research and explores with them various issues connected to neuroscience, psychopharmacology, psychology, anthropology, religious studies, and of course, drug policy.
